Although more than 14,000 different banks issued National Bank Notes, many collectors simply obtain one note of each design type without regard to location. Five different denominations were issued in small size, all with two different types. High grade examples are available for all types, although Type 2 $50s and Type 2 $100s are much scarcer than the others.
